Message for Potteries CAMRA members

At a recent branch meeting it was resolved that a monthly message be sent to members via email, twitter and Facebook with information on forthcoming events, meetings, socials etc as well as voting for pub of the month and requesting members suggestions for pubs they would like to nominate. The first pub of the month will be the Blue Bell Inn at Hardingswood, Kidsgrove on Saturday 23rd April 2022 (The Blue Bell would have had the award had it not been for the Covid-19 pandemic).

The initial list of prospective pubs, for pub of the month, was drawn up from those members present at the last branch meeting.

Many members have asked about when the branch magazine ‘Potters Bar’ is coming back and are the branch having a beer festival this year. To date there are no plans for the branch to have a beer festival this year. Potters Bar could make a comeback in the future, should the distribution team be bolstered with volunteers to drop the magazines in pubs in their area. A future message will give areas where we have little or no volunteers.
